Learning Reflection

This blog has reminded me that there are actually many restaurants in Hong Kong apart from the chain restaurants. When we do the research for each classification, we have found many results, but most of them are indeed the subsidiaries or branches of the large catering groups and chain restaurants. However, there are actually many small restaurants operated by some families or even work under a sole-proprietorship; for instance, Little Vegas, Tulsi & Wine, etc .. When these shop owners are trying their best to survive in such a difficult business environment, with high rental, high material costs and insufficient labour force in the market, we should also do whatever we can to support them. Theses small restaurants are a part of our lives and cultures. Thus, we should explore and visit these small shops to show our sincere support and appreciations to them!
